The food here was really good. I want to highlight the current chicken patty. It was very flavorful and tasted as if it was homemade. My main dish I had the oxtail, rice and peas and cabbage. I'll start with the cabbage. It was delicious ,nicely, flavored and complemented the dish very well. The oxtail was good, but it was very fatty. They didn't take the time to trim the fat off of the meat that was my only reason why I gave it a four out of five stars plus I love that. they used Jasmine rice instead of parboiled, but I wish the rice had a bit more flavor and wasn't mushy. I would like to come back and try the curry chicken, food was good overall.
It was good tasty food, nice portions, great presentation. I loved the meal. will order again. will tell friends to eat and order from here!
Now this is where it's at, I will gladly do the 30 min drive again, any day. We got the oxtail and the cow feet! Both was so flavorful and tasted amazing. Service was amazing. I highly recommend. They had seatings, so you are able to eat inside as well.
I went here on 10/24/23. I picked up a order for my sister. First time trying this food. The oxtail plate is delicious . They give you a great portion. My sister looked out for me with a plate. I enjoyed the food..
Omg the best Jamaican food I've tasted. My new favorite Jamaican restaurant. We tried the oxtails and the jerk chicken was Amazing!. Also the cocoa bread and beef patty was Amazing!
My friend recommended this place, and he always orders from here. This is one of his go to places and I can understand why, The food is pretty good. We ordered the oxtail, sweet-and-sour, Jamaican meatballs, and the goat Curry. My friend told me to place the order because as a first time customer they would go the extra mile since I was a new customer and would want to impress me. He swears on this for his own personal experiences and has proven his point when other friends of his had ordered from here. When we got our food I asked if they had given more portions than they usually did for him and he was like "yep they did". He definitely wants to order again while I'm here, I guess we better use up my new customer credits first right lol? But I'm down as well. The flavoring was there. Most importantly it's not over seasoned or over salted so another plus for me. Interested in seeing what else they have to offer.
